Expressing things I experience in life is my approach to art. The images are always changing, but there is a constant that remains in each piece. Knowing that constant is what drives me to continue to make art.
The wood work is a connection to the land. The smell of the wood, the feel of the finely sanded finish and its warmth, helps my visions become real.
Building in clay has movement like a river flowing through the valley with hills and curves, finding places to stop and breathe, resting in places where form and image become one.
